Hello! I am making most of my friend scraves as well. Knitting is so much fun, except when you mess up and all of the rows fall off causing much chaos. It's funny, I was trying to save money this year by making all my gifts but I ended up spending more on yarn than any other year! I guess that is what happens when the expensive yarn is the prettiest.

As for other ideas, I draw a blank. :( Take care! <3

I just thought of something! My sister made a wallet for her friend out of clear ducktape and monopoly money. You can make them out of different things, for example, starburst wrappers! Very inexpensive, and very cute! Here are the websites: http://www.geocities.com/craftylike/starburst.html

my sister just got a sewing machine and is starting to make her own clothes, she loves it! sounds awesome... would probably save money too.... and yes, holidays are good... :D

I do love sewing my own clothes; (studied under my mom - fashion design) I sometimes make jewellery from my closest friends. Last year, I made tea towels.

My friend made me a scarf last year, I loved it. I wish I could sew/knit, everytime I try it goes horribly wrong! I think I'll just stick to what I'm good at.
