Sometimes I wonder if all of my friends have abandoned LJ for Facebook. My Space didn't kill LJ, but that might be because it was too customizable at a time when most people had dial-up and loading pages on My Space took forever. But Facebook might have done it. Saturday, my father passed out while driving his pick-up and crashed into a house. One of his vertebrae is shattered. On the bright side: he's not paralyzed, and they appear to have hopes of full recovery from it. Right now, they appear to be more concerned about why he's passing out and have him in ICU for observation ( Read more... )

I am now 30 years old. Not sure if I should be freaking out or not. Kind of feels like any other day, no one much cares about me, so no parties or wild happenings. At least it's Saturday and I don't have to work.

Didn't move, not sure if anyone noticed or cared.

Not much going on. Lost 15lbs, but that was before holiday diet hiatus.

Someday, I'll have something useful and fun to say.

Another birthday has passed, and not much (currently) has changed. I am looking into buying a house in Shamokin for $15,000. This means moving (always a hassle) and getting a new job (hopefully a real one with actual benefits). As I was leaving my parking lot today,I almost hit a falcon. (It was too small to be a hawk, beak too thick to be a kestrel). The coloring was not quite right for an adult peregrine falcon, it was too brown, so if it was a peregrine (the only species I could find listed as being local), it would have been a juvenile, as they are more brown in color ( Read more... )
