I'm certainly old enough to remember the 70's! I recognized a lot of references but some things I didn't. Probably they were songs/shows that never made it to the US. I'm glad he slowed down that song so I could follow the references.

How are you? And how is Sarah liking uiniversity?

It was made by someone who grew up in the UK in the 70s and 80s and I think there was less crossover of popular culture then than there is now. I should have made a comment to that effect. I think the 80s stuff was probably more recognisable to you.

It has made you comment at any rate! Hello, how are things with you?

Yes, I recognized a lot of 80's stuff, but I always think of myself as a child of the 70's since I graduated from high school in 1980. I don't think I had a lot of spare time in the 80's since that was the decade I went to college, got married and worked professionally. :)

We're fine. Feeling the March blahs. We're supposed to get a bad snowstorm tonight. *sigh*

I do too (obviously!) so the 80s stuff I remember but isn't from my childhood. A lot of the kids stuff, Like Tiswaz, I was vaguely aware of but did't watch unlike Dave, who has a sister over 3 years younger than he is so was exposed to kids programs for longer than I was. I did get sentimental when they showed Shep (the border collie dog seen briefly in the middle) but he wouldn't mean anything to you.

We've had some lovely weather recently. It isn't horribly hot like it was in summer. Although we have had a couple of ferocious storms at least there is no chance of snow here! I hope spring aeeives for you soon.
