Wow! I just finished the last of my coursework for my very first grad school class. I was so nervous at the beginning of the semester. I wasn't sure I'd be able to handle it. Thanksgiving Dinner #2
Thanksgiving Dinner #1 went well...even if we did go to a restaurant. My mom took Wes and I out to a local Kenai restaurant for a surprisingly good Thanksgiving dinner. Twas the Night Before Thanksgiving
I'm here at my mom's house in Soldotna. I have very mixed feelings about this Thanksgiving. This will be the first one without my Dad. Finally got around to getting some new icons courtesy of another user in the knitting community. Now I don't have to look at myself everytime I use LiveJournal. The weekend has been off to a great start. Went to the Aces game last night. Wes got free tickets through work-which is awesome. The Aces lost which was no good, but it was a really good game. Update
Well, I took one of the dogs to Animal Food Warehouse to see if some nice people would see her (Willow, a 9month old Alaskan husky-GORGEOUS!). She did well. I learned she hates little dogs ( I do too, so no biggie..lol). One woman loved her and wanted to her adopt her, so we went right over to the Animal Shelter. I was soooo excited.
