Journal is mostly friends only and a bit filtered so my real life can be protected from my journal thoughts.  I like to read journals by other moms especially if you are damn funny, tell a good story, post lots of pictures, or just plain interest me.  I am always looking for more shomer shabbos, kosher, female friends!

I lived in willowbrook for years. on ingram and s gannon, on harold, on president and for a bit down by the ferry. I am only in touch with one other couple over there now but I use to know more. I actually miss staten island a lot. the small community, the drama, the eruv, the access to jersey, etc.

Wow you really have lived in a whole bunch of places. I don't actually live in Willowbrook. I'm attempting after almost two years not living in a frum community to convince my husband to seriously consider buying in the eruv.
lol. We live near the hospital, the one on Seaview. My dad gave us an apartment for free. SO let's think free apartment to save money, or spend money we don't have? hmm

I have worked with people from Willowbrook, it reminded me a lot of college sigh.

Where I grew up. I was down by the Outerbridge I think I would feel naked w/o being able to into Jersey on a regular basis. The best part about Jersey I went in on Thursday to do shopping and what not. I got gas for $2.899. It's sad what is so exciting soem days. :)

I so miss Jersey. for some reason i get lost there less than in long island. I am going to SI tomorrow to get a laptop fixed at the mall (the other apple store is in the city) and I am debating whether to make an appearance at jersey gardens and ikea...not that I need furniture for a place we'll be moving out of soon nor do i need more maternity clothes...shoes maybe...

my cousins are in arden heights. it feels like a different world to me. I totally hear you on the free apartment.

very nice! my husband refused to get married in Av no matter how many books I could find showing the happy days of Av. So I got married the first day after Av I could and barely managed to stay in August. I was NOT going to have a fall wedding.
