I was writing the last part and worrying if it had the same intensity as the beginning because I wrote them at different times. I'm glad that it turned out okay! Glad that you liked it!!

It actually flows pretty nicely. I can't tell where you stopped or re-started writing it. If you're worried about the ending, I don't think it needs to be as intense, it's like a build-up & release of tension/energy that's been exhausted, I feel 'satisfied', like having had a meal. Does that make sense? Your climax, apex, whatever you want to call it, was the shooting, & since it's utilising the concept of nursery rhyme - I don't know if you did it on purpose, but it kind of runs, word-wise, like a nursery rhyme at that point. I like that. :) Your last 2 lines seal the deal. I think to do much more with that might be overkill (I do that a lot, ha ha). No pun intended. XD
