Hi beautiful,

I woke up this morning thinking "I'm in Seattle, I wonder how the beautiful tealynx is doing, and if there is any chance of seeing her before I fly to Anchorage on Monday?". As a result I told myself to remember to look up your details when I got to the computer and see if I could find a phone number or something. Of course, in the time it took to do my morning sit ups etc, I'd pretty much forgotten that I was supposed to look anything up, until I saw your lovely face attached to the above post. I don't have anything I require of you, but if you would like to say hello you can reach me at 206 484-5960. Mom is letting me take the phone with me to Alaska, and I'll be back in Seattle for one day on 6 Jan, so that number is good till then. Since you are working and I'm on holiday, I'll leave the ball in your court, call if you get a moment, any time of the day or night, and if you don't, know that I was thinking of you, and love you very much, though our paths cross so seldom.

I so want to steal some of your phrases and tattoo them on certain peoples eyeballs...

I debated on whether or not this needed saying... mistress_gaelan December 20 2009, 21:41:46 UTC
... and then realized I can never say it too often: I love you dearly and I am deeply grateful for the time our paths are in alignment. :) I treasure the quiet moments when we steal away from the rest of the world, however infrequent they happen right now. You are in my heart always...

"Instead you repeatably make the decision to withhold for me vital pieces of information, which you rightly assume will make my life more difficult in that moment. You do this with the deepest and best intentions, often completely unconsciously, and no doubt with the best interests of everyone involved held firmly in your heart."

This part reminds me so much of a conversation you and I had on the beach once, and the subsequent havoc wrought... and it sums up pretty much everything that bothers me about being the youngest in our family! :)

I've said it before, many many times. We were wrong. We did it because we thought it was best, but that doesn't even slightly remove the fact that we were wrong.

Like I said, nearly 40 years being me has taught me not to make that mistake.I'd like to chalk it up to being young and stupid, but really, are we smarter now?

Love you sis.
(oh, and being the eldest is not really a fun party either, btw. But I'm betting you knew that. :) )
