I got to watch President Obama's speech live this morning (just after noon east coast time) by virtue of being home working on the rough drafts for the new tea blog posts. ( Cut to save friends pages for those that don't want to listen to me muse politics )

I ended up staying an extra day in San Diego. I just couldn't resist. I had a gaggle of Scottish relations and 80 degree weather. After the apocolyptic winter we've had here I all but shouted "Take Me!" when they asked for volunteers to be bumped a day at the airport. So, I read The NYTimes Blog by the guys who wrote Freakonomics most days (especially days like today when I'm not fit for human company and am working from home with only my dogs to torture). Dear A.I.G., I Quit!

I've been thinking about making this post for a while... but just didn't due to an over abundance of personal gremlins (hey there ted!). It's become clear to me in the last 24 hours that it needs doing. General outlines of the best way to contact me, and where I may be when on a weekly basis are behind the cut. I honestly spend a great deal of time telling myself that I "don't work enough". I think I see all of you that have offices to go to, or children you are raising, as more productive members of society.
