I have a Canon SX 100 IS only had it for about two months or less. It's still in perfect condition; no scratches, perfect. The original price is $249.99 but I bought it for $209 (plus shipping and handling). I want to sell it for $200. Here's is the camera and all about it; it's the black one ( Read more... )

I saw your posting in the photographers community, but decided I would rather post here. I am interested in your camera, especially since I have been looking at those exact same ones. About 2 months ago I got a Powershot A90 IS (in black as well), I love it, but as I have been getting more and more into photography, I decided I want to try something else. I know on the other post you said you were looking for someone to buy your camera, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask if you would be willing to trade. Especially, since I seem to have more of what you may be looking for (another Canon, more portable yet still advanced, perfect condition as I am very particular about my things) plus, I would be able to offer you $50, to make up the difference in the current price of my A90 and your asking of $200. If this is not what you are looking for I will not be offended in any way. :) You can let me know on my lj username: red_glow or email: jfraley29@hotmail.com.

Thanks for your time!

Oh yes, sorry that was a typo it is the A590 IS. It does have a color selection feature called "My Color" that you can set when you take the picture. It lets you pic from Vivid, Neutral, Sepia, Black & White or Custom. Custom gives you a menu to adjust the contrast, sharpness and saturation. I have actually never used that feature because I prefer to do that stuff on PhotoShop instead. As for modes it gives you a choice of M, Av, Tv, P, Auto, Easy (I NEVER use, you can't really adjust ANYTHING, I don't know why it is there. It seems like abuse of such a good camera to me! lol), Portrait, Landscape, Night Snapshot, Kids & Pets, Indoors, SCN (which includes: beach, fireworks, aquarium, night scene, sunset, foliage & snow) and also a Video mode where you can choose standard or compact (I don't really use that either). Let me know if there is anything specific you wanted to know... I just kinda went over what I thought you would like to know the main things that you may or may not have known since they might vary from your powershot. I ( ... )

oh no, i meant the color swap and color accent shooting mode. it doesn't have that. i just compared both the camera i want and yours on canon's site and you're doesn't have those shooting modes. dammit i should have looked at that before i bought this one. i just bought the one i have simple b/c of the optical zoom and mega pixel size. lol... damn me! but i like your camera, i just need one with this two shooting modes. i'm looking to purchase one in the SD family. thanks you for the offer to trade. i'm just a little picky. and sorry if i wasted your time.
