Anyone out there that has never read Candide by Voltaire should definitely pick it up at your local bookstore. It's a fairly short read (only 144 pgs including a 15 pg introduction on the copy I have), and extremely weird! It was published in 1758 and according to the introduction deals with the topic of suffering and god. I can't say much more ( Read more... ) -

I wish the weekend was over already! I'm sick and this rain isn't helping me feel any better. Spent yesterday cleaning my kitchen and then when out with Ame for dinner at Don Pablos. october 19th...26 years on earth
Tomorrow is my 26th Birthday. I'm going out to a "birthday lunch" with a few people from my mineralogy class (there are 3 of us with birthdays this month, mine just happened to be smack dab in the middle). Also I have a cold, so if I'm lucky I'll be better by tomorrow, otherwise I get to be sick on my birthday =P -
