The end of the stormy weather had been a welcome change for Rahne. While she'd never taken well to the tropical weather and persistent heat that was regular for this place, all the rain had made it nearly impossible to do anything, and the lack of activity quickly grew stifling, left her anxiously waiting for the freedom that the warmth provided. "If ye can call it that, aye," said Moira, who was less than fond of the lab. It wasn't bad, no, for a backwater place like this, but then, she found it a wonder they had anything to call a lab at all. Most of it couldn't hold a candle to Muir Island, and it was, perhaps, that for which she was most often homesick. It was, at least, fairly high on the list. She was accustomed to hiding herself from the world for long periods of time and hardly noticing, too buried in her work even to come up for air, and this wasn't really an option here, not in the way it had once been. She couldn't look too terribly put out, though, not with Rahne around. The place had a couple benefits, at least. "Been out, then, luv?"

"Of course," Rahne replied, pleased and a little sheepish all at once. She couldn't have expected it not to be apparent, after all, and her relief over being able to go outside again was nothing she'd had any reason to keep to herself. Even if she had wanted to, she probably wouldn't have been able to manage it, so intent on keeping herself moving. "So where were ye headed after this?" she asked, head tilting to the side. "Anywhere ye could use some company?"

"O' course, darlin', always," Moira said. It was truer here, of course, where she wanted cor things to do than it had sometimes been in their busy days on Muir Island, but she was and always had been glad to make time for Rahne. "I was just goin' t' grab a bit o' coffee an' head out for some air. Ye more'n welcome, if ye've nae got somethin' ye'd rather be doin'."

"Like there's so much to do around here?" Rahne rolled her eyes, teasing, brows slightly raised. There were a good deal more options now that the weather was bearable, but obligations were a rarity, and there were few people she'd have been as glad to spend time with. "Sounds perfect to me. I was looking to get a drink of water, anyway."
