The end of the stormy weather had been a welcome change for Rahne. While she'd never taken well to the tropical weather and persistent heat that was regular for this place, all the rain had made it nearly impossible to do anything, and the lack of activity quickly grew stifling, left her anxiously waiting for the freedom that the warmth provided. More often than not, Rahne still finds herself bored here, the pace of island life far slower than what she's grown accustomed to. It isn't anything she's looking to change, either; infuriating though it frequently is, she has no desire to want to settle, has found instead ways to keep herself moving. If asked, Rahne wouldn't say that she's gotten soft. After years spent on various teams, she doesn't think it would be possible to lose that edge and the instincts that have been instilled in her, even in a place that isn't much more than a permanent vacation.
