Thank you. I only wish my mum had been able to travel to see her own mother in Finland one final time who's only just moved into assisted care at the age of 98! I wish I was also nausea-free but that's probably the Christmas over-eating and drinking ;)
So sorry to hear about your Mum. I don't think there can ever be enough time to talk over everything a Mum and daughter could, but I think that a lot of what we don't say is already shared and known, regardless.
Brilliant that you continue to baffle your oncologist, and that the beast is still lying low! Also great to see your other fluffy beast is thriving. :)
I hope you had a lovely day with family today ♥ I think more than anything, that's what this time of year is about.
Thanks for those words about mothers and daughters. But I'll never forget her final response was to recognise and smile at her 3 grandchildren as they came into the hospital room, even though she couldn't really speak at that point. I can only hope that apart from her main wishes (DNR and cremation) she was actually happy to leave all the funeral details to us.
It was a lovely Christmas Eve with the family (the Swedish time to celebrate) and we all perfectly harmonious for once! I hope you had an enjoyable day with family. Are you still travelling for work often?
