I am seriously considering the idea that I am not (and may never be) ready for college. I know that this is typically the kind of realization you arrive at during your first year at school, but I was never the one to do things the proper way, anyway ( Read more... )

i've come to the same conclusion about never being ready for college, in fact i don't think at this point in my life i will be ready for anything, i think that's just how we roll. meet u by the bridge in Dec or Nov and we'll discuss the ways that this place will never stay...

I'm all the way in Germany and yet still, your LiveJournal amuses me. freudenmadlein September 8 2004, 04:23:04 UTC
Havin' me a quick beer before class (I love this country), and I gotta say--relax, sir. Mistake or not, fuck 'em--have a good time, change the world, do as much or little as you feel 'cause in the end, we're all doing what we can when we can, and the world's gonna be a better place.

Or maybe I'm just drunk.

haha actually that's a really cool way of looking at life, thank you. it's a nice thought that even if I fail, things will end up for the best.

BUT

in the short term, I am in danger of losing my scholarship and having to drop out and I really need to get my life together.

Well, I have good faith that you'll get yo' shit done when you need it done. Just remember, if you drop out, nobody's going to pay for you to study and live abroad--so stay in school 'cause it's muthafuckin' cool and just 'cause class makes ya wanna drool, you gotta go to lecture, look at the bigger picture, don't let the future miss ya, or you won't have enough money, to listen to this honey, rap it freestyle on the stage, with her words bouncin' round like inside a cage, pluck the feathers of bad rhyme, but at least when I write I have enough time, to figure out what comes next in the line, so there's some kind of design, and on a completely different topic, there's a new journal trick, it's gonna be in English, so I'm not a dolphin talkin' to fish, as I write about my advertures all Deutsch-ish, so keep up the good work sir, don't drive yourself beserker, 'cause you're one cool fuckin' cat, and USC's lucky to have you at bat.

Peace. :)

now sam, we all get frustrated. and i agree with austin - when are ever really ready for ANYTHING? things just come at us, and we're expected to be 100% stable and secure and sure about ourselves and what we're about to embark on? fat chance, buddy. i totally feel you man, on many levels.

except this whole i hate music business. you're a nice dude for that one. the nicest of dudes, possibly.

JUUUUUUUST JOSHIN. bop.
