right now i should be in my gorgeous new rubber dress with high heels and lots of make up on driving to the ball. instead i am at home in my slops with a rotten cold that's given me a mucusy chesty cough

it's possibly the first time i've been sensible enough to stay in, even though we'd already spent a lot of money on the night. am glad though as still quite chesty and would be far worse if i'd gone out.
