Hopefully going to Slimes tonight. Not been since we moved so bit of an adventure going over from West London! It's free before midnight for members so if we manage to shift ourselves on time, we'll save a tenner. Just as well as I won't get paid till next thurs - first time since mid-December.

Just booked my flight to Australia to see my sister in May!! Will be away for about three weeks. She's pregnant, due end Feb/begining March and is the first out of the three of us (me, bruv and sis) to become a parent. So excited ( Read more... )

Had a great xmas this year, very relaxing and stress-free. Obviously down about Dad but that seemed to affect me more a few days before than on the anniversary of his death. Went for some walks, ate nice food and got lots of loot ( Read more... )

We at Ealing Council were supposed to be paid our December pay today - quite normal to get paid a week before xmas. Our usual pay day's the 26th though so 10 days early did feel too early, but now I'm relying in it. However due the fire in Hemel affecting the company that deals with the monetary transfers, we're not going to be paid until next ( Read more... )

...goth wedding!

just a quickie as at work but walked past ealing town hall this morning and saw a goth wedding party. am sure fabio was taking photos and recognised one or two other slime faces!

bit of news - john and i are moving into our very own place next week! bought a flat in hanwell and we get the keys on tuesday. very exciting.
