Each theater runs a different amount of commercials and previews depending on the deals that they make, so there's no such thing as an absolute set finish point for any particular film. Therefore, no internet entity will accept accountability for it. At least, no smart one will, and why would you want to depend on a stupid one?

If you subtract a half hour from the subsequent show time, you'll get yourself into the ballpark. If you want to be more scientific about it, many sites do post films' running times, and you can add about 10 minutes of previews, subtract 5 minutes if you don't want to stay for ending credits, and do the math yourself.

Speaking of which, stay through the end credits of "Iron Man."

I didn't think it would actually happen - it's just what I want.

Dammit. We saw Iron Man at the Avco today, and the showtime was screwed up so we had to leave the moment the credits started. (We were expecting a 4:10 showtime, and got a 4:40 one. Had to jog back to UCLA for an evening concert that started at 7:30.)

I guess we'll see the final moment when we pick up the DVD...

Joel, I actually spent about ten minutes looking around for a data source with an API for movie showtimes so I could whip you something up. And when there wasn't one, I actually considered for a few minutes just parsing the Google search results. Which would have been about the worst idea ever.

This is how much I don't want to be doing my actual work. :)

Hi Andy! I didn't realize you were reading. Welcome! =)

And that's FAR too funny. Thanks for the thought, but you're right - I'm guessing you've got better projects to work on.... *g*
