Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate movie for me

Well, saw Pirates 2 last night, and I must say: great effects, interesting story though a mite incomprehensible at times. Clearly a bloody cliffhanger, so if you don't like cliffhangers, wait until 3 is coming out, and they bring 2 back for a short stint to "remind" you what it looks like on the big-screen ( Read more... )

SCREW U...haul. U haul Does things to ferrets to ghastly to discuss on this forum. However, I suggest using Penske. Their trucks are comfortable, newer and more reliable, and have a fun, nifty hydraulic lifting system for loading/unloading. FU-haul on the other hand has a habit of employing the Samford and Son truck for most of it's rentals and uses a slippery, narrow, ramp to load the truck. If your spew-haul truck manages to leave the lot in one piece, you find they break down more often then depressive in a psych-ward. This is after P.U-haul will set up your "reservation" only to have no truck available because their idea of have your truck reserved is making sure they own trucks. You'll fight for the correct transmission, fight over length, fight over return times and they may even coors you (as they did me) into placing your stuff in storage so they can get their truck back because some pipe-bending, horse-monkey rented it to someone else before your return time! ::gasps for air::

I'd go with Penske. Congrats on the move! =^_^=

No liftgates on interstate trucks, but otherwise, seems good.
We also found a discount on Budget which makes it only marginally more expensive, and we've driven budget trucks before and been quite comfortable.

Yeh, I think we're cancelling UHaul, they're now the priciest, and we've some more horror stories from their ex-customers.
