This weekend, we decided to start sprucing up the place. So we went down to Home Depot and picked up 300 12" ceramic floor tiles. Today we had scheduled to go out snorkeling at Molokini. Jason Jones had found a boat that seemed pretty cool and Devon reserved it. The boat is a 50foot catamaran called Paragon II. It's set up mostly for racing rather than cruising. While many of the large tourist boats carry 100 to 150 people packed in like sardines, we had 23 on Paragon. ( Read more... )

So we decided to try driving up to Haleakala on Friday. We met Caleb and Aimee at Safeway in Kahului and packed into the Durango. Kahului is at sea level... We headed up the highway going through several cool small towns, pastures, farming areas, etc. Then the drive got steeper and we headed up toward the top. "Maui Ocean Center"

Well, we're here in Maui for Jason and Krissy's wedding. It's a tad over 80 during the day, it's been raining a bit here and there and pretty windy. After a 2 hour flight followed by a 40 minute plane change and a 5 hour flight we were really tired when we got to Kahului Airport. This weekend was pretty good. Friday night we headed up to Lynnwood's copy of The Rock restaurant for socioecoboy's birthday celebration.
