Hey thanks for doing this. I'm downloading now. You know, growing up in Texas, I really hated country music. But I've been weaving songs into Riding Fence and so listening to a lot of it from the period. Yikes! I'm really starting to love the stuff. Downloaded all of Hank Williams hits and George Straits 50 #1s.

What I like about it is that the songs really tell stories, they are like little novels about life and death all in 3 minutes!!

Hey pal, I sure hope you like it! On this one, Jenna loved CD2 but was not crazy about Jim Reeves "I Miss Me" on CD1, one of several reasons I did the later remix. I noticed that you were mentioning country music in your story and even had Ennis surrender to being danced around a little bit, which I enjoyed immensely! I was not really crazy about country music either, especially when I was younger, but I kinda got into that country phase back in the 1980s, and Brokeback rekindled that all over again, this time even stronger. I find this music masculine, and comforting too. I also like that storytelling aspect - some of it can really be quite affecting! Take care, Tom
