Hate him. He's the Fratty mcFratson Duder who made Cabin Fever and Hostel. If you have iTunes, find the podcast "KCRW's The Treatment" with Elvis Mitchell, and download the most recent one. I will only hate Eli Roth if he is not the person who came up with the "Pancakes!!!!" scene in Cabin Fever. And I liked the scummy sheriff kid who rode a bicycle too.

My cousin was one of the sherriff characters in Cabin Fever. He's totally a star. But seriously, best present ever coming later. Sometime. I promise.

Last year, Stephen King released a novel called "Cell." You may or may not have read it, but it had a brillient premise.

The book starts in boston commons, and what occures is that some sort of unexplained 'pulse' goes out... and it causes everyone with a cell phone, who's on the phone, or who answers the phone, to basically turn into homicidal zombies.

contrary to most of his works, which usually have a 200/300/400 page lead up, violence commenses on page 8. it's a great book, and a very neat twisted hommage to john romero.

and eli roth is directing the film.

my 'other' and I have outstanding plans to murder him.
