I know I've been spending too much time on Facebook, because I really just want a BIG thumbs-up to click about 50 times for this comment. But I'll have to settle for: YES.
I'm normally pretty much in agreement with you with these (very entertaining, thank you!) recaps, but I have to say, I didn't think much of this finale. (Totally with you on the Eric/Sookie/Bill bits, however.) I actually thought last season's was a good bit stronger

Let it be said I think their finales are generally their weakest episodes so the bar wasn't terribly high, but last season I only enjoyed the Eric scenes in the finale. But you're right, it wasn't bad

OK, trying this again with the "pointless/endless babbling" part of my brain mostly under wraps, and all apologies for the last attempt. I shouldn't be allowed on LJ without adult supervision sometimes, I swear. Take 2 -
That's an excellent point about finales, and S3's finale probably wasn't all that strong; I think I have fonder memories than are probably really deserved because the only bits of it I can seem to recall are Eric's scenes
( ... )
Never apologise for babbling on my journal! Not that many people want to have in depth discussions with me about True Blood! I am pretty slow replying to things at the moment, so sorry I didn't get to it sooner

I literally don't care what happens next season as long as I get plenty of Russell and Steve Newlin. Preferably together. Praise his light. gfbjhgfbkfj amen to that. Seriously, that was pretty much what made the finale for me. And that precious fairy vagina line had me in stitches. lol Pam gets it.
Lol, Pam throwing her Sookie tantrum was both hilarious and heartbreaking. Did you laugh when Eric had that look on his face when he rushed over to Sookie, thinking she'd picked him?
hahaha, I did just a bit. But what cracked me up the most in that scene was the matching dressing gowns. I mean really? The fact that they were both having a nommy snack from each of her arms was pretty funny too. She's a fucking vending machine.
I laughed so hard in the porno three-way break-up scene that I had to rewind it to make sure it was actually worth all the LOLs. I don't like the Eric who makes Pam cry, but my has she hurtled herself to top of my faves list this season (I think it's all the lines about Sookie's vag to be honest).
Also, I think I actually wet myself at: "Hello Nan. And gay stormtroopers."
Cannot wait for Russell and Steve. I hope together as well!
I couldn't rewatch it because I was so embarassed, but then I kind of wanted to for the lulz! I read someone say Pam is like True Blood's Hurley, saying what the audience thinks, and I thought that was hilarious.
