An AU where lycanthropy is recognized in society, but werewolves are being deprived of their rights.

Derek is a werewolf part of the protesting and riots. He and his family made up one of the radical werewolf rights groups, until his family was killed (Anon can decide if Kate was still the one who murdered them; maybe hunters are an extreme organization that want werewolves stripped of all rights) and now, in a desperate move to force the government's hand, Derek kidnaps a prominent anti-werewolf politician's son. Stiles.

Also up to Anon if they want to include the other characters, and how they would do so.

Gurl I'm not the OP but I'd say go for voluntary abduction, this sounds kinda badass too!
Also I wanted to give it a try too, since the prompt is so awesome, would you mind if I wrote a second fill? Nothing too big though. Well, hopefully : | I just don't want to ruin it for you so do tell.
(And mine would be a proper kidnapping so they'd be different)

OP here, and I'm freaking out now because TWO FILLS and I'm just crying a bit. I'm good with the voluntary abduction but I'm happy there's also a proper kidnapping too, and I'll just quietly be sitting at my computer awaiting the first post. YOU BOTH ARE HEROES.

well OP you need to post prompt like that a bit everywhere on the KM :D Seriously fell in love with it.
But just so you know that'd be my first fill/fic in the TW fandom and I'm a slow writer, so it might take some times for me too. I'm totally doing it since the other anon is cool with it though : 3

Umm... sure go ahead...

Mine is a voluntary abduction in the sense that Stiles himself isn't a werewolf hater. There isn't an established relationship.

Anyhow, I look forward to your post as well. I've never been of the school of thought that it is "stealing" if two people fill the same prompt, or if two people have the same idea and write about it. I know so many authors who never post their stories because someone posted theirs before. I also hate when authors want credit for certain situations just because they posted it first and someone else had the same idea. If that was the case, EVERY SINGLE well known story is plagiarism.

Hey, OP here, and I'm open to voluntary abduction, though I'd rather if Derek/Stiles doesn't start out established, I like a slow build.

Other than that, I really want to see what you'll do with this (I'm sure it'll be amazing!) and also I need you to let me love you down. Is that okay?

That's mainly what I wanted to check on - hadn't seen an update on this thread in a few months and thought I'd ask. Take your time, of course! I'm so glad you're still planning to write this. And anyway, fics can only get better with antici--

i stumbled upon this prompt about a week ago and started writing immediately! i cant wait to see what the other fillers have in store, but for now here is my take on it. im planning on a rather long and in-depth fill, and i used to exclusively write one-shots, so this is a very new writing experience for me.

due to the power issues that would obviously come out of a situation & awful world like this, i want to try my best to portray the eventual sterek as honestly as i can, aka quite unhealthy. if it bothers anyone, i understand completely and you may leave this fic asap <3 ( ... )
