This year’s Xmas is quite toned down for us here in Dubai since it’s a Muslim country and there’re no public holidays on Xmas. Our company ‘graciously’ gave us half a day off on Sunday (why not make it one whole day to make us happy? Got ourselves a 150cm tall Xmas tree on Sat. So happy! We decorated it in red and it looks so good in our living room! Really lift my Xmas spirits! My boy and jenny went to my neighbour’s place for lunch yesterday. They have a adorable 3yr old daughter. After lunch the kids started playing together. Finally tried my hands at baking during the weekend and the first trial was a success! Yay! I baked honey chicken and cook seafood chow mian. Jenny and siong were all praise for it. First time I see so much clouds in the sky here! When I first came here the sky was totally cloudless. Miss seeing those clouds. And the glare was terrible! Even in the office with the useless blinds, I'm almost blinded by the glare. Very tempted to wear sunglasses here!
