Good weekend
M stopped through Peoria for the weekend on her way back to Nebraska to get the boys. The women's conference in Evanston was just over-the-top awesome; she is just glowing and brimming over with life. We've had a wonderful 27 hours together without the boys - just enjoying and connecting with each other, really great conversation, and great sex ( Read more... ) -

Things are ok with me these days, I got a good job, I got a good office
M and I are thinking of going to "Movin' Out," the Broadway musical choreographed by Twyla Tharp and written around Billy Joel's music, which is now touring and will be in Chicago this summer. M and I are thinking of going to the 2 PM show Sat July 1, particularly if people would be interested in going with. Any takers?

An apple a day keeps the screamin away
Kids are still sick. Sammy's cut down the vomiting to only once a day, which is nice. Usually it's of the projectile variety, but a couple days ago, toward the end of dinner while in his highchair, he opened his mouth in a big "O" and had this slow motion solid vomit episode. Sunday bleah-y Sunday
Church sucked for us today. Felt pretty disconnected during the sermon, and just distant from people in general. M spent most of the service being hospitality lady and feeding/consoling sick li'l Nathan. Mostly I think we're just grumpy and out of it due to lack of sleep, and to fighting off our kids' respective contagions ( Read more... ) -
Good show
Oh that was just wonderful. Mike (guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Amy (mandolin, vocals) were joined by Liz Kennedy (upright bass, vocals); banjo and fiddle were absent tonight, but I didn't miss it. Amy sings like Alison Krauss with a sassy edge; beautiful, soulful, playful, and sometimes flirty. Mike's "hangdog tenor" stumbles playfully ( Read more... ) -
