Today's accomplishments so far:
1. Woke up. Discovered that having a thermometer in the apartment is depressing when it's 63.5 degrees inside.
2. Turned on space heater.
3. Discovered that toaster is on strike, and will not make toast.
4. Ate frozen bread for breakfast.

Highlight of my week: The landlord turns on heat tomorrow! Yay! It shall no longer be 66 degrees in my apartment!

Went to Anime Fest in New York yesterday--and then to a variety of comic book and videogame stores. 'Twas fun. The guy who works across from me in cubeville knows I like videogames, and he asked if I liked anime, too. Milk and Postage
The milk around here (...I moved to New Jersey, for anyone who hasn't heard) has two expiration dates: one for New York City, and also a general one. I noticed the second one this morning while making breakfast. I should not be buying a new computer. I am anyway. I have the cash, really, but I've been trying to keep up a cushion of cashes for when I invitably move out and probably have to volunteer as slave labor work as an unpaid intern.

The Oxford English Saga
So (have you noticed how many of my posts begin with "so"?), for graduation, my parents got me The Oxford English Dictionary of Etymology and the Compact Oxford English Dictionary.
