I think just comparing Plyo to what I used to do for tennis training makes it seem kinda weak. We'd have half-hour "warm-ups" which consisted of intense running/strafing exercises before we played tennis for 3 to 4 hours, followed by an hour of really intense plyometrics. I used to be able to skip over a 50-gallon garbage bin filled past the brim with medicine balls. In an academy of over 100 tennis/soccer players, only 2 people could do a standing long jump farther than me, and one of them is now a professional soccer player (feel free to Wiki Demarcus Beasley). That's why standing on my little mat doing a couple lunges doesn't feel like I'm doing enough. But until I get a new place to workout, it'll have to do. I think I'm gonna run a flat-out mile this weekend to see what I can do ( ... )
