It's been a rough night. I never figured EL would be impenetrable, but I also didn't figure we'd get quite the influx we got. Just picked up Sandie from the school and Olaf from home -- Olaf had the TV on. I didn't get much but I saw Tom Brokaw struggling not to cry and Tim Russert shuffling around in the background yelling about brains. Guess New York must be bad.

Oh, I just had to go and check it out, didn't I? Had to find out what the noise was. I stuck my head out the door and sure enough, it was the guy in 105, just not so lively as I expected. I heard some weird noises in the hall last night, but I just chalked it up to the fact that we'd had yet another blocked sewer incident. Hell, I even saw the plumbers snaking the drain lines and the carpet guys cleaning up the flooding from the laundry room. But what the hell is going on out there now? For those of you who haven't yet heard, Six Apart announced the sale of LJ today. The buyer is a Russian company, SUP. At least a couple posters in the comments seem suspicious of SUP for other things they've apparently done while they've managed the Russian LJ, but I'm inclined to wait and see. Bunch of minor edits: I went back and cleaned up the home-hosted images in some of the old entries -- they're all on Photobucket now, although there is one link to an image on my home server due to Photobucket's size limits. I didn't bother notating the entries because the actual content didn't change.
