FedEx to Build California's Largest Corporate Solar Power System on FedEx Facility.

It only takes the space of two rooftops to do this. Very large rooftops, I'm sure, but just two.

This release mentions that FedEx also runs a fleet of hybrid diesel trucks; what it neglects to mention is that the company is also working to start using biodiesel ( Read more... )

I think it offers a particular contrast to the "recycling used bottles" brand of progressive behavior offered in that quiz on your journal. Sorry to spam it with comments, by the way--I just couldn't get enough of their shortsighted image of progressivism.

Perfectly all right. I see what they were getting at, but calling it 'Progressive' is silly. Totally in agreement.

You know it dude. Stats just came out yesterday indicating that shipments of solar cells were up 21% domestically in volume year-over-year. Fucking fantastic!
