Where Do I Begin? & An Excuse to Post My CD Collection

Good question. Preferably nowhere, since that's where my journal has been the past few months. Undoubtedly due to a severe case of procrastination cake iced with writer's block, and sprinkled liberally with perfectionism. You actually probably don't want me to. I actually keep a database of it, and it's over 1000 CDs. Which actually isn't _that_ many I suppose, but more than many people.

It would be very long.

Did you work at a CD shop at some time, or was that an accumulation over several years? Most of the people I know who had a big collection were either in the music biz selling music or working for it.

Well, if you're aiming for a post that will shock anyone by its length...

I work in radio, actually, and while I get some stuff from that, the bulk of my CDs were actually bought-and-paid-for. (And none of the Radio ones were stolen, of course, just that "bought-and-paid-for" tends to have "swiped" as the alternative, y'know... just at radio stations and such, there's always a big bin/rack/whatever of Promo Stuff that no one can play/would want to play/extras, so first come first serve.)

Actually, we've got a lot of CDs in common. Perhaps I might do a CD Collection Edit post sometime later (I'm a bit busy tonight, though, so...). Get rid of the stuff no one's ever heard of/etc.
