I'm really, really enjoying these last few episodes of the season, but I have to admit, the liberal "homage" to Watchmen was a little much for me.

Yeah, I can see that, though as I mentioned it didn't really bother me personally. When we were watching it I said to my Dad, "This has the same plot as a famous comic book called Watchmen, but I have a strange feeling it's not going to end like Watchmen did." I don't think NBC would let that happen even if the producers had the crazy nuts to try it, but it would be funny. They don't stop the bomb, Linderman convinces everyone not to tell the truth about it -- everyone except Hiro, who Peter then incinerates and the show is cancelled, the end. That would be kinda badass.
