You only liked half of MPP? I'm curious to hear your thoughts on it.

I think it's been a great first quarter of the year for new music. Cymbals Eat Guitars, Neko Case, Dan Deacon. Yeah.

Yeah, I thought Merriweather was just a little too long. With the exception of like...three songs, I thought most every track was at least two minutes too long. I was also a little biased on it from the get-go just because I'm just not much for chilled out electro-pop (or at least, I think I've yet to hear that style done in a way I enjoyed; there may be a day). If the entire album had been more...I guess you could say "unplugged", I think I might have been more inclined to it.

That said, "Daily Routine" kicks some SERIOUS ass.
