Chad grunted, too overwhelmed to even try and answer that a condom would fit in his wallet, but lube wouldn't, so of course he bought lubed condoms.

For some reason that was the hottest line in the fic. *fans herself* There so needs to be more of this 'verse. :)

Holy Hannah, that was hot! Really, deeply hot.

I love the developing dynamic between Chad and Ryan. Chad is pretty open about how much he likes being with Ryan, and the banter between them is really entertaining.

Chad totally likes Ryan and is so not even bothering to pretend he isn't. (Ryan is pretending a little bit. But not much. Because they are soooo meant to be. This is my fluffy 'verse. *g*)

Only one thing, though. First time bottoming and only the lube on a condom? YIKES!!! I hope Ryan at least used spit or something! Everyone uses lubed condoms...but they aren't enough for first time anal sex! Hell, they aren't enough for 15th time anal sex!

Yeah, there was a lot of spit involved. I definitely thought about the condom/lube problem a lot, and for me it came down to a question of how to include the safest version of sex I could without ruining the pacing of the fic. (I thought about various kitchen products, but most would actually be really bad for a latex condom. *safe sex nerd*) So in the end I went with lubed condom/lots of spit (basically all the foreplay)/suspension of disbelief combination.

Although you're right, most kitchen products would be horrible for a latex condom. ^_^;;

I suspect it's probably a lot more difficult for me to suspend my disbelief with a fic like this, though: unlike most of fandom, I've actually been in a lot of these situations. *totally feels like the only guy around sometimes*

YES THIS. I was about to comment with the EXACT SAME THING.

TMI time: I have tried to bottom before with only the lube on the condom, and can I say, "OW FUCKING OW"? Especially without any real kind of stretching. The story was totally hot for me right up to that point, but it took me out of it enough that I really couldn't enjoy the rest.
