When the obnoxious kids in our Psych class asked to have a party on the last day of class instead of having to learn anything, my professor said of course we would have class, but we could still have a party. He planned for us to come one Sunday to his house and grill out, meet his daughter and wife, and then head to the Burning of the Witches ( Read more... )

So the first place we went when we got here was the Pilsner Urquell Brewery for our first dinner in the country. Everyone got either gulas (goulash) or the vegetarian option, noodles. Even though I'd already been to Paris, when Phil asked me if I wanted to meet him there, I checked over my budget and decided I had the money. It was set! The next week after Venice flew by. I returned on Sunday afternoon, and on Monday I had my interview for the summer position I wanted, as STP counselor, and went to pick up Phil. 2 big things, both in the same day, all while adjusting to not having good sleep the past few nights! so i went to the grocery store, in search of my usual need for body lotion. the lotion here is really really potent and i need to use the less fragrancy stuff... and then i found some! it's called "holiday lotion--for fair skin," and doesn't smell too much. in the next couple days i used it a few times a day to moisturize my hands.... and then ( Read more... )
