Hmm... well, I guess it was my turn--Post-graduate anxiety just punched me right in the face. Here's the convo I had with my brother. No need to reply to say "he's right", I know he is. But this convo depicts more of what I"m going through than any number of paragraphs ( Read more... )

Temple, this brotherly conversation was very insightful. It seemed like a very honest moment for you both, and I'm very impressed by the wisdom that Nay brought to the table.

I won't sit here and say how right Nay is (even though I think he is to a large degree), because you won't know for sure until you have a bit more life experience -- beyond the doors of academia.

But I'll tell you man, half the people I know in Berkeley are having precisely the same fears that you're having. The uncertainty that follows graduating from college has this way of drawing all our insecurities to the surface. What you're feeling is very, very normal.

Hang tough buddy. If there's anything I can do, just drop me a line.

So, Mr. Bachelor's in Political Science, what does France's rejection of the EU constitution mean?

Also, what city are you in, and what have you been up to?

Hey T!

Well, in a nutshell: France voted for the status quo. This is what happens when a populous doesn't know enough about the change they are voting for, and since change is often undesirable, they voted "Non". Essentially, this was a case in point of my thesis. I hope Keleher takes that into account when grading my Capstone :P.

I'm doing well. I JUST got to Phoenix. Yes, we took a while, but I did see my Aunt in Santa Cruz, then my Grandmother in Vegas. It took a while, but it was good to see the family.

Now, it's crunch time to find a job, and did I mention that it's midnight at the moment and the outside temp is 74! This heat will take some getting used to. I also need to get my car back from San Diego. So I have a lot going on that I need to be focused on.

How is your summer going? How is the internship working out?

It's good to hear from you T,
Cheers to this Summer!
