My loyal readers may recall that I actually work for the corporate headquarters in Connecticut. Being 1100 miles away from my boss has its upsides and its downsides. Upsides include usually only having to speak to him once a day, during our evening status phone meeting. Been there, done that. I remember walking into a meeting at Avio and being told that the entire sales & marketing staff was no longer on the payroll. Hope you have that resume up to date. Rats flee a sinking ship. Better to be a rat who makes it onto another boat than one who drowns.

After working for about two dozen %$#^%hole bosses, #25 assualted me on the job. At that moment I swore I would NEVER EVER work for anyone else. EVER.

So far, so good.

I really think you should put the double whammy hex on the CEO of your company for letting this kind of crap happen to the backbone staff of his/her company!
