Except for Garden State which, since we didn't even finish watching it, must therefore qualify as the worse of the two. But if the video store wasn't closed, we might have shut of Aquatic too.

Jeanne scared us so bad we left more than a full day before projected landfall. After the flood scare with Francis, I was sure we'd have water in the apartment. We put furniture on cinderblocks and stacked things high.

Guess what? Not only are our carpets dry, the power didn't even go off. We coulda stayed home!

Here we go again. Now it's Hurricane Jeanne barreling down on Florida's east coast. We'd stay put again, but last time the Halifax River overflowed its banks and we had water in the parking lot.
