i love rearranging my room!  i do it a lot, and did it this weekend for the second time since moving onto south whitney street.  i rather enjoy the new layout, i need to invite people over to hang out and not watch tv.

i would say i have to stop being so hard on myself, but i'm afraid that may still qualify as overly self-critical.  i need a long rest when i lay and be at peace.  january didn't turn out as quiet as i was hoping.  but the world turns on.  school again monday. 

now i'd rather be associated with cloudless sunsets and my go-get-em attitude rather than rainy skies and afternoons in bed.  i guess to some people i'll always be the down and out girl.  take this as a memo: THAT'S NOT ME anymore ( Read more... )

lost my job, lost my phone, lost my head.

i got laid off from my job.  i've done nothing wrong, and was the most reliable morning baker they had had since opening in amherst.  i busted my ass at that shop, fucking up my sleep schedule and letting my grades ultimately suffer because i needed to pay bills.  adrie called me up yesterday evening telling me that the were rescheduling everything ( Read more... )

though we've had some great snow storms already, i think the winter weather has lost a touch of its charm this season.

also, i realized that i've had insomnia-like qualities for a long time running, now.  it's not just the weird bakery hours, it's been like a decade.
