K folks --

Unless I hear that I shouldn't, I'm tentatively planning on heading up to K this weekend. I say "tentatively" because I'm feeling kind of wiped out after the first half of this week, and I may not feel like driving anywhere. But if I can dredge up the enthusiasm, I'm heading northward.

I utterly love this song. It combines just the right amount of attitude with Baroque elements in the guitar solo in the middle. I once saw a video of Yngwie Malmsteen demonstrating guitar techniques and talking about how classical music influenced guitar solos in 80's rock music, arguably the heyday of the lead guitarist. So, I'd pretty well decided I'm not worrying about law school for next year. I've started taking courses toward an MBA, and work is paying for them, which is about as sweet a deal as one can hope for.
