I went to a poetry reading at Barbella's Art Gallery on Church street last night. It was tons of fun. I met lots of poeple, heard good music and poetry, and I read some of my stuff. Last night I parked my car in my driveway after work, and noticed my break lights were on. My breaks were not. The lights wouldn't go off. So Mike was nice enough to help me figure out which fuse was for the break lights, and we pulled it. So today I had to put it back, and take it out again when I got here. Damn, the name of the opening band for Southern Culture popped into my head randomly while I was bussing one of my tables last night. They were called the Legendary Shack Shakers. On a related note ... I waited on this total rockabilly, greaser guy with elvis hair last night. He didn't tip too well.
