Yesterday was the big Gay Pride Parade. It was much fun. We stood at Halstead and Roscoe, in front of this gay bar called Roscoe's. Halstead is an interesting street. It's the heart of the gay community here, and on every block they have these statues on both sides of the road. They basically look like tall spires, with rainbow colors wrapped ( Read more... )

Holy shit I love this town! It's so full of life. I think I sometimes get complacent and forget how boring Pensacola is. We just got back from seeing Ru Paul, which was tons of fun. So yesterday was tons of fun! It was my day off and Jesse was off from both of her jobs. We decided to try to go canoing yet again. This time we called before driving the hour up there, and found out that they were indeed renting canoes!! So we quickly got our shit together and headed out.
