Rest day

I no longer follow the WOD as it goes because I have to practice what I have learned. I do, however, take periodic rest days. Today was one. thelostgm bought us both kayaks, red ones made out of molded plastic. We took them on their maiden voyage today, launching above the fish ladder, in the creek that is the source of the inlet to Cayuga Lake. The

Kayaking is such a cool way to enjoy water. So cool that you can do it right in your back yard!

And Star Trek was the BEST. Went and saw it a second time this past weekend. The Trekkie in me has been revived.

We must plan a Kayaking trip now. What kind of Kayaks are they?
Matt and I went out in our Kayaks yesterday, the weather was beautiful. I love kayaking.

They are whatever kayaks that were on sale at Dick's. They are hard to steer straight but difficult to flip. In other words, fat. We don't need anything fancy, like a 14-footer with its own rudder.
