Rowing is the one Crossfit thing that's good for tall people. Squats? Good for short people. L-sits? Good for short people. Ring muscle-ups? Good for short people. But rowing...better if you're an elvish freak of nature like me.

105lb is a really good weight for your second time doing squats - especially for 4 straight sets across! Not sad at all! I think my second 5x5 was more like 75lb. Also, 1:55 is also really good for your first 500m.
I'd love to meet you some time - this Wednesday, 6PM, I'll be at Stewart Park doing a workout. It will probably be just a fun workout, instead of any specific instruction, because I don't think any totally new people will be showing up.
