This morning when I got up he was all weepy in my lap, he's been trying to learn to knit and unraveled a bunch of work and has to start over and OMG he is just so cute and warm and cuddly. I'm trying to enjoy the last of the little years.
did he think it was cool as hell and all frankenstein-y with the stitches? because it totally is. he will heal well and have some little sweet scar-faintness that'll be there someday for somebody to smooch on and want to know the story behind. ah! life! ha.
also, it pleases me to see that bag of paper napkins up at your crib. i'm just saying.
I think he loves his wound, his class calls him Harry now. At the ER they were talking to us about Plastic surgery (not for a year, blah blah blah) and J an I both said, he'll have such a cool scar!
You were perhaps thinking we dined with cloth napkins? You need to sit down with Dylan at the crumb covered table and eat Dominoes pizza straight from the box, that's right Mama was too wiped to put out plates.
