It was pretty intense, I'm a great person in a crisis. I go into TCOB mode, but all the way to the hospital, following his ambulance, I kept saying, out loud, "I need a cigarette!" , I haven't smoked in a decade, and I had kids in the car with me, listening to me say this over and over again like a crazy person and then clamp my hand over my mouth.

You do not know the half of studly 7 year old and his many girlfriends and entourage of males who follow him everywhere. He is learning to knit because Kaia knits and he wants to "have something in common with her."
I need to write down all the stuff he says.

He wants babies, lots of babies, he's building a treehouse in the backyard for his babies, and his wife, but she doesn't have to live there she can just visit his babies if she wants... First though he needs to get a job, to buy "Power-up tools" to build his house. He has many drawings done of the house.

Okay, between the babies and the treehouse and the knitting now *I* want to smooch on him. That's my kinda guy.

He is an odd mixture of total Alpha male and lover of pastel colors, dolls and babies. It is pretty impossible to raise a kid without gender stereotypes, Maggie is actually the one who is most likely to say X is for girls, and then Dylan will shoot back there are no girl colors or boy colors, just colors!

He is also the kid who covered the bathroom ceiling in spitballs last week...sigh

Oh, I forgot! I am trying to get back to my food blog community recipe_girl
Come visit sometime.

I was reading Neil Gaiman's blog the other day and he whacked himself in the head playing with the dog and gave himself two black eyes and probably a scar, but no stitches (do you think there's something in the air?). Anyway, his daughter told him to tell people who asked what he told her to tell people back when she was 5 and got her scar, "That she got it dueling in Heidelberg." Only she was little and her little kid ears/brain turned it into "I got it in a swordfight with spiderman."

I say all that to say, your adorable boy can turn that scar(which is healing so nicely!) into a helluva story someday if he wants to.

It can be added to my favorite WTF story from his childhood.

"When I was a baby my Mommy fed me spider blood to make me strong."

Maybe I read him too many Greek myths.

How is Earl's face?
