For my touchy feely "Only use I statements" Personal and Professional Ethics course each student was asked to prepare a genealogical tree and ask our parents about our childhood personality. It was an exercise on birth order. p.s. this is pass/fail/not actually a class

Now I want to ask my parents this. Mostly they just exclaim "And you would eat ANYTHING!"

When I read, "preferred to associate with high achievers, but seemed to form the closest friendships with people who were intellectual, genuine, compassionate/idealist types and those with 'interesting' personalities," I kinda had to step back. My dad has barely known me for most of my life since I lived with my mom and he moved across the country when I turned 14... yet he knew my choice in friends better than I do. I don't know if I could give a more accurate description of the people I like i.e. you.

Best compliment ever? When I read this this morning I broke into a smile at my computer and all hope for the tired day was not lost.
