Err, sorry for the lack of updates. Whenever I feel I have something to say I can never seem to get around to it before I forget. Oh well ( Read more... )

Well, Desmond wore a purple (color? Bah!) traveler's cloak, well-used chain mail, and sturdy boots. At the end of the game, he had a smaller shield on his forearm most of the time (for simplicity's sake, let's say it is round)

He carried a pack full of various things. Perhaps his pack could be open slightly, with some rope or something hanging out? A belt with small pouches is around his waist. He didn't carry water or other supplies, because his god provided those for him.

Well, I can draw him with both the cloak and the pack, but the pack will be pushing the cloak aside and might look a little odd. Generally I don't draw characters with their luggage. ;-)

So... Desmond's shield has been (unintentionally) down-graded to a buckler. I can make it into a larger shield, but it'll block off the view of his sword's hilt. He has his pouches and his cloak, and the bag with his rope tide to it is on the floor next to him. He's about half-shaded, though I haven't done the texture on his chain shirt, so it just looks like a normal shirt (hate hate hate chain-mail). I can scan the picture and show you if you want.

"Besides, Aiden feels more than a little guilty about what his relatives did to Korin's people. No, it's not rational, but guilt rarely is."

Which is precisely why Korin was giving you the gold in the first place. Fine. We're square as corners, then.

Ah, illogical guilt... from all directions. It's kind of a pitty that you won't be playing Korin anymore. Am I the only person that plans to keep their character?

So, after trying and trying to draw a dwarf I realized that, duh, just because it has funny proportions doesn't mean it doesn't have muscle structure. So, what do you want Korin to be wearing? At the moment I have him standing forward and I was gonna put a crossbow in one of his hands and his rapier in the other.

I don't have any specific thoughts on what he'd be wearing. I probably had him in a chain shirt, but if you wanted him in something less martial, like leather armor, or just normal clothing, that could work as well. Actually, I kind of like the idea of him in leather armor, and no that isn't supposed to be kinky at all, so if that would look good, go with it.

I do think that if you want the crossbow in one hand, it should be sort of pointed upwards, which has a dramatic, hopeful quality to it which negates the fact that it will probably miss given crossbows aren't arcing bows..

What about me? Am I glaring menacingly at everyone from the sky?

Possibly wielding a giant d20, rotating in your palm?

I'm very harmless and I only bite on sundays so I think you're safe ;) :p

If I posted this in the wrong place I'm sorry! I'm pretty new to LJ and shortly after I made it, I lost the password so I'm still a newbie! *lol* pwease forgive me o.O;;
