Candidate games for a large group, a random list. Again, written in chunks because I so rarely have half an hour of contiguous time anymore.

Mutants and Masterminds is carved from a block of 100% awesome. You can totally do larger groups with it. And, it's familiar enough to D&D players (since it's very loosely based on D20) that they should get the hang of it really quickly.

I would love to run M&M, actually, but I worry that senatorhatty and wildpaletz would be bored or jaded because they've apparently played the heck out of it.

I have a ton of M&M books, I honestly enjoy reading them. I've run it for the boys for a few sessions and they adore it. It's quick and easy.
