And I be here...yet wanting to be there.

I am having a mini-crisis. Yes, y'all my ass (along with the rest o'me) wants to move out. Yet, I feel as though Seattle is so far away that I could never save that kind of cash in a mere six months. I won't even know if I am accepted to school until June. I am sick of living with a baby, my sister, and her husband. I want complete independence to ( Read more... )

why not just try it for awhile and leave if it's bullshit there? will robbie be cool with it if you're month-to-month or does he want a long-term commitment?

They all know that my current plan involves a move to Wahington around August. So it won't be a surprise. The "blast" part is what I am partially worried about. I can't party like it's 1999 (yes, cheesy I know but I am not completely awake) every night of the week. Judgmental Kristen doesn't think it's a good plan. But funnily, my mom is all for it as long as I can swing my own rent. (As far as being locked into anything, my name ain't on the lease and it isn't going anywhere near it.) Why didn't I just call you? It would have been so much easier.

I may be the devil on your shoulder compared to Kristen's angel but I'm gonna have to go with her on this one babe. It sucks living with Gina et al but look how much money you'll save. And you'd have even more people encroaching upon your personal space box should you make the move. It's all well and good to hang out and drink every night at Robbie's but it's a whole different kettle of fish (my new favorite weird Irish expression, by the way) when you're actually living with these people. Sometimes you've just gotta put up with the shit to get through to bliss, and at least it's shit you're used to at your house - you'd just be trading old pains in the ass for new ones if you did move.

Guess I'm not moving now, except with a pair of crutches. Ha-ha.
