That's a boldly dismissive generalization that I can spin several ways.

I was very surprised that Obama didn't do better in CA. I was expecting him to be the clear winner there on the Democrat side.

I was watching the votes come in and just shaking my head in disbelief. I couldn't believe Obama lost California. I'm in Illinois, where he has a great following. It made me sad to watch all those places he lost.

I voted for the first time today! I was expecting to see long lines of people at my polling place, but I was the only one there...Still, it made me feel very proud to have a part in the process.

It seems that much of the grassroots support for Ron Paul comes from individuals ineligible to vote. The vast majority of Paul supporters I know personally and on the internet are too young to vote. This might be the reason for all the support but such small numbers

I wasn't invited to vote yesterday. I am registered libertarian and AZ only allows republicans and democrats to vote in the primaries.

My boyfriend changed his party affiliation so he could vote for Ron Paul. I decided to stay my ground. I'm tired of having an exclusive two party system and I believe that flip-flopping my beliefs to best fit myself into the system isn't the right choice for me.

I agree with your assessment except I predict it will be McCain in the white house. I've met too many people who think POW = War Hero = AUTHORITY ON ALL THINGS WAR.

I'll be in san francisco in two weeks. I would have loved to have seen what you saw yesterday.
